Mexican Burgers

Ingredients

1 1/2 pounds ground turkey
= (have your butcher grind this for you)
2 tablespoons ice water
2 tablespoons hot salsa
1/4 cup finely-crushed low-fat tortilla chips
2 teaspoons ground cumin
1/2 teaspoon chili powder

Method

Prepare an outside grill with an oiled rack set 4 inches above the heat source. On a gas grill, set the heat to high. Combine the meat with the remaining ingredients. Shape into 6 patties. Grill the burgers, turning once, for a total of 8 to 10 minutes until the turkey is white throughout.

This recipe yields 6 servings. Serving size: 3 to 4 ounces.

Comments: Crushed tortilla chips give this burger a great texture and an interesting bite!
