Spaghetti With Pesto Sauce
Ingredients3 cups fresh basil stems removed 3 garlic cloves chopped 1/4 cup olive oil 3/4 cup pine nuts toasted 1/4 cup grated Parmesan cheese Freshly-ground black pepper to taste 1 pound cooked spaghetti hot
MethodWash and dry basil. Place basil in a blender or food processor with garlic, olive oil, pine nuts, cheese, and pepper; puree.
Transfer cooked spaghetti to a serving bowl. Add pesto and toss thoroughly to serve.
This recipe yields 8 servings. Serving size: 1 cup pasta plus sauce.
